Francisco Ortiz

Chairman of the Board & CEO
Francisco Ortiz is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of SkyRun Property Trust. Mr. Ortiz has served in this capacity since May 2002 and previous companies as Founder. As the Chairman and CEO of one of the nation’s largest multifamily Property Management & Real Estate Investment Trusts, Mr. Ortiz holds strategic roles within the real estate industry. He is currently a member of the National Association of Property Managers & Real Estate Investment Trusts ('NAREIT') where he serves on the Board, the National Multifamily Housing Council ('NMHC') where he was past chairman, and the Urban Land Institute ('ULI'). Mr. Ortiz began his Property management career after graduating from Colorado State University in 1990. After working for a private Colorado Property management company,

Mr. Ortiz co-founded SkyRun’s predecessor companies in 1995 and has spent almost 20 years building a company of great people that are renowned for their management proficiency, their development and construction capabilities and their savvy in the areas of technology, training and marketing. He has led the development, management, acquisition and disposition of real estate properties; and under his leadership, SkyRun has grown from a Colorado-based real estate firm with assets valued at $2 million to an industry leader with a national footprint and assets valued at more than $10 million.

Fernando Montes de Oca

Executive Vice Chairman of the Board and Vice President
D. Fernando Montes de Oca was co-founder of SkyRun's predecessor companies in 2000 and has served SkyRun as Vice-President and Principal Executive Officer since 2002. As a Principal Executive Officer and VP Montes de Oca drives SkyRun's strategic initiatives, leads the property operations, corporate support services, and promotes the company's culture.

After completing his Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Cornell University at Ithaca, NY Mr. Montes de Oca began his career as a management consultant with Starwood Corporation, one of the most active hospitality and development firms in the World in 2004, and later became Director of Financial Planning and Strategic Assets.

Fernando is a member of the Executive Council of the Center for Real Estate Finance at the University of Florida and serves as advisor, financial supporter, guest lecturer and panelist for the faculty and students pursuing their MBAs in real estate finance. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Property Managers and a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida and Mexico. For more than ten years, Mr. Montes de Oca has been committed to developing one of the best multifamily companies in the industry.

Oscar O. Urbieta

Chief Financial Officer and President of Construction

Oscar Urbieta is the President of Ortiz Bros. Constructions and Chief Operating Officer of SkyRun Property Trust and Chairman of SkyRun’s Investment Committee.

 After graduating from UNAM University, Mr. Urbieta served three years as a IT  Officer in various assignments and locations with International's Internet and Telecommunications Companies. Prior to joining SkyRun’s predecessor company, Mr. Urbieta had responsibility for all construction and project services at one of the largest and most active development companies in Summit County, CO where he began his association with Ortiz. Pacotti and Montes de Oca. Mr. Urbieta has developed real estate such as privatized public development of office buildings, governmental and university facilities, and student housing. While at SkyRun, he has structured and managed numerous real estate revenue enhancement groups and has been responsible for the construction, development, or acquisition/disposition of real estate assets. Mr. Urbieta is responsible for all operations across the United States.

Marisol R. Mejia

General Counsel & Area Manager
Since February 2003, Marisol R. Mejia has been co-responsible for a variety of banking, real state functions for SkyRun, including corporate governance, transactional activities, and Real State supervision. She is located in our Puerto Vallarta location

Prior to joining SkyRun, Marisol was a long-standing partner in a prominent Puerto Vallarta real estate firm. While her practice focused on real estate development and investments, she devoted a substantial portion of her time to the representation of SkyRun.

Oscar Romero

General Legal Corporate
Since February 2015, Oscar Romero has been responsible for a variety of legal functions for SkyRun, including corporate governance, transactional activities, and supervision with companies in the industry.

Ari T. Jesset

Chief Accounting Officer

Ari T. Jessett is Chief Accountant Officer, CPA, and a Treasurer of SkyRun Property Trust. In this capacity, Ari oversees all of the capital markets activity, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, financial operations, risk management, and tax compliance for SkyRun. In addition to his daily management responsibilities at SkyRun, Ari has been responsible for over $2 Million of debt and equity issuances and structured real estate transactions.

Giovanna Ceravolo

Home Operations Manager
Giovanna is a Cancun native that loves the outdoors and the beach! She enjoys relaxing, fishing, and outdoor sports.
Giovanna is the Home Operations Manager at SkyRun. She is based in Cancun and oversees all aspects of property operations. Giovanna is responsible for information technology, marketing, internal help desk, and SkyRun's Owners and Guests Contact Center. Within 14 years of hospitality experience she loves doing something new everyday.

Lindsey Watkins

Manager of Location Development
Lindsey is a Colorado native that loves the outdoors! She enjoys snowboarding, fishing and mountain biking. Lindsey leads our IT  help desk and assists with update training new SkyRun destinations around three countries, but she loves to travel Mexico and drink Habanero Margaritas.

David Cantu

Field Operations Manager
David oversees property management and general contracting along with the responsibility of facilities and centralized purchasing operations for SkyRun multifamily and retail portfolio and other real estate properties developed by SkyRun and third-party investors and clients. He is involved in property acquisition, design team selection, and direction, as well as cost estimating, project management, facilities operations and general contracting.

He is from Puebla - a beautiful place near Mexico City- He loves relaxing on the beach, watching movies, and take care of his doggies.
